Penelope

Hi I am Penelope.  I think I am quite a pretty girl with lovely shiny soft fur.   I can walk for hours with my other doggie buddies and don’t seem to get tired.  But when we come back I love to have a long sleep before I go out again.

I am a very gentle girl.  That might be because I was so sick when I arrived here.  I could not do much for a long time but the lovely vets and nurses took really good care of me.  I am always smiling when someone comes to say Hello to me.  I love all the cuddles and treats they give me after my walk.

I was rescued from a shelter on the mainland.  A kind lady called Lanta Animal Welfare and told them about me. They drove a long way to go and pick me up.   I was very sick with a type of cancer called TVT.  Without treatment I would have died.  Everyone here takes such good care of us; we are very lucky to be here.  Now I am very fit and healthy and hope to find a forever home.
